I like to learn and teach.
In the past I have taught at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, the Pratt Institute of Art and Design, and the Kolding Design School, and am currently involved with workshops and teaching at the Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design, amongst others.
I’ve been advising people on the uses of on- and off-line technologies for over 10 years now – mostly when they get interested in things like museum and art exhibitions, interaction design for art and music. I often help others design of interactive spaces, exhibitions and objects, and have worked with ESI Design, the American Museum of Natural History, Argyle Design and a number of other design groups. I also design and deliver workshops with other people on specific topics like electronics, multimedia software, and other tools, as well as more conceptual investigations into how these same things have come to shape what it means to be a human being. I’m interested in helping technologies get along with creative people better.
Please get in touch if you’d like to chat about anything at all.
