I like to learn and teach and learn and teach. I am currently teaching on the Digital Media Masters of Research course at the University of Newcastle. The course’s activities take place at the Culture Lab. The goings on of the course are right here, if you’d like to take a look at what we get up to.
In the past I have taught at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, the Pratt Institute of Art and Design, and the Kolding Design School, amongst others.
I’ve been advising people on the uses of online and offline technologies for some time now – mostly for those interested in things like museum exhibits, art, interaction and music. I also design and deliver workshops with people on more specific seeming things like electronics, multimedia software, and other tools that help technologies listen to creative people better. If you’d like to chat about something, please get in touch.
I have worked with ESI Design, the American Museum of Natural History, Argyle Design and a number of commercial design houses on the design of interactive spaces, exhibitions and objects.
