Hi.  I’m Jamie Allen and I like to make things with my head and hands.  These things often involve peoples’ relationships to creativity, technology and resources – and mostly attempt to give people new, subversive and funny ways to interact with all of these.

I work as Assistant Director of the Culture Lab (Newcastle University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK), where I lead the Digital Media course, teach and develop projects.  I am also a PhD candidate with the European Graduate School (Media & Communications).
